f(x)'s 2nd Album - Pink Tape

I like the design of this album. It really looks like a cassette tape. Very nostalgic.

 

If this was a real movie, I'd watch it. Haha :P

Oh my gosh, I can't express how much I love the songs in this album. I rarely ever like all songs in one album but I do for Pink Tape. f(x), you really outdid yourselves in this one. It's really hard for me to choose which one my favourite is as they're all awesome. I guess if I had to choose, I'd pick Rum Pum Pum Pum, Signal, Airplane and Snapshot. 

Rum Pum Pum Pum: I like it the minute I listened to it.  

Shadow: I like how it sounds. Very soothing song and unique too. Great harmonization.

Pretty Girl: I like the chorus part. Luna and Krystal's voices are amazing (Krystal's voice sounds like Jessica's especially near the ending. haha)

Kick: Makes you wanna dance during the instrumental part.

Signal: Has that 80s/90s feel that I really, really like. Thank you for bringing back the disco sounds, SM. :D

Step: Catchy 'na na na' part. Another nice song to dance to.

Goodbye Summer: A lovely ballad song about unsaid feelings. Featuring D.O was a great idea. Their voices go very well together. Probably the best song lyrically.

Airplane: It has a nice tune and a catchy chorus (come with me, airplane, love~). Also, I am in love with Amber's voice in verse 2. Thank you, SM for letting her sing more in this. Honestly I prefer her singing than rapping. Her voice is beautiful~ :)

Toy: Another catchy song. I like the Sulli and Krystal's intro and also the chorus. However, the only thing I did not like much is the random dub-step in the middle. Other than that, it's a good song.

No More: This song sounds so much like an SNSD song. I think this may be my least favourite but I still like it.

Snapshot: Do I need to say more? The intro is brilliant! I wish they would release an MV for this. I can imagine one something similar to SNSD's Paparazzi MV.

Ending Page: Great choice of song to end the album. I wish to watch them sing this live one day. f(x), please do a concert in Malaysia~

I seriously don't know how many times I've repeated the songs on my iTunes. This album deserves an award. It's so good, I'm about to cry. T_T

If you're an f(x) fan, you should really buy this album. Trust me, it won't disappoint. Definitely one of my favourites Kpop albums. ^^

f(x)'s 2nd Mini Album - Electric Shock

I always wanted this album since it came out. Electric Shock is like one of my favourite f(x) songs ever! Love it from the minute I watch the MV.

SM, again I ask, what is it with the random animals? And why on earth would you make them wear those horse/deer masks? I was confused so I googled the explanation and I found out that they are trying to convey a fairy tale through that album cover. Hmm, all I could see is a creepy album cover. Wouldn't it be better to make an album cover with I don't know.. an electric/electronic concept or something?

It gets creepier when I opened the album. The pedo-rabbit and pedo-bear are nowhere near the fairytale concept.

As usual, I don't like the empty white and blank pages. But the pictures are okay (minus the animals). The girls are very pretty~

I've always enjoyed f(x) songs since their debut. They're catchy. The songs in this album are no exception. All are great. As I have mentioned, I love Electric Shock (who doesn't?). Other than that, I also like Beautiful Stranger and Jet. :)

I was excited to see which member photocard I get, secretly hoping it'd be Krystal and....

 Yippie! Got hers as my first f(x) photocard. So happy~ ^^

As for the posters, I already know which ones I get because the seller was selling it separately from the album and I chose these two.

Yes, Krystal is my bias if you don't already know. :)
